Electronics Assembly & Soldering Technician

We’re a small hardware startup building IoT and automation devices. Humanoid robots? Not yet, but we’re getting there. First we need hands-on help building our prototypes, especially soldering, wiring, and assembly.

What you’ll do

• Solder and wire components together from schematics
• Assemble printed parts, motors, sensors, and microcontrollers into working prototypes
• Help test builds and report what works and what doesn’t

What we’re looking for

• Comfortable with a soldering iron (class or hobby experience counts)
• Can read a basic schematic or wiring diagram
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn

Bonus (not required): Arduino/ESP32 experience, breadboard prototyping, 3D printing

Setup

Interviews are remote. Most of this role happens in the shop, about 1-2 sessions a week, with flexible scheduling around classes.

Employment type

Part-time independent contractor (1099), not a W-2 position. Hours are flexible around classes and work. If your program requires internship paperwork or credit, we’re happy to work that out.
